Stylists are skilled, but I find it a bit too formal(bordering on cold) for my liking. Went there with my kids,for kids' haircut, the place is not at all kids friendly.

First time I've visited this salon and I saw Shannon. Such a thorough consultation, and every step of the way Shannon gave useful information about how to look after my hair and scalp. I'll be booking in with her again.

The first hair salon in NZ to have me leave happy and 100% satisfied in a long time. Been coming here for the last year for keratin treatments mainly and Vicky, the owner, is just great; kind, easy to talk to and so experienced. Highly recommend this hair salon.

Great hair salon that I would recommend. Pros: + Easy to use online booking system, phone and in-store as well if you're that way inclined + Friendly staff who seem to understand when/if you want to be chatty or not, do not try to sell you stuff, and will provide guidance when you aren't super clear on what you want + My washes with Milly have been excellent, including good massage technique and great smelling shampoo/conditioner + My cuts with Milly have always been superb + Milly has always told me what the cost will be before she starts the work + My appointments have been kept roughly to time which is great + I was overcharged once (everyone, including myself, had forgot I had made a deposit), but they sorted it out very quickly and seamlessly Cons: - Must book in advance, probably can't just turn up, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it speaks to their popularity

For someone who has suffered with hair loss and damaged hair, I have constantly been faced with challenges when getting my hair done. On so many occasions I've been embarrassed by staff members by the way they've spoken about my hair between themselves and too me. When I found Bliss, as usual I was nervous because of how I've mostly always been treated by hair stylists. As soon as I sat down, Vicky made me feel so comfortable and when I told her about the history of my hair, I didn't feel judged and wasn't made to feel even worse about the quality of my hair. She was amazing. So down to earth and just a lovely human. Not to mention how well she did my hair. I am so glad I found the salon, thanks again Vicky. Highly reccomend!

First time client to this salon. Paige did my colour / cut. She listened to the description and I came away a happy customer. My hair was dry, the colour had faded, and the shape was lost. So Paige had some work to do!! She did a great job, would recommend!!

Bliss is one of the few salons I can rely on to cut/colour/style my hair perfectly! Every staff member has been so easy to talk to about hair goals and trained in the latest and best of hair products. I may need you to fix my partners hair once lockdown is done ?

Changing up this review from 1 star to 5 star. Had a very bad experience during my 1st time about 2 weeks ago. Went for a blow wave/curl and was faced by a poor job and even poorer customer service by one of the stylists. I emailed the owner the same day detailing my experience and requested a refund. The owner, Vicky not only promptly emailed back to apologize and refund, she also called me to apologize again and offered to do a deep conditioning and blow curl for free. She felt really bad and wanted to offer me the real 'bliss' experience. Vicky did not disappoint. She was very good, warm, knowledgeable and super professional. She obviously knows her craft and products and took me through everything she did step by step. She gave me a super beautiful blow curl (very similar to my previous one that I provided photos off, saying I wanted something like that). Even the hairwash was super relaxing and nice. She even recommended and provided a few samples of products to take care of my curls and waves. I had loads of compliments that day and even the next day my hair felt soft, fresh with some of the curls still there. Easily one of the best blow wave I had. Most important, one of the best and genuine customer service ? . It was amazing how she took a bad experience and transformed it to something so positive simply by taking responsibility, being transparent and of course doing a great job. When I left the stylist with whom I had a bad experience approached me and apologized for her behavior which I really appreciated as well. Thank you so much Vicky. I am definitely coming back for more! Really appreciate your warmth, professionalism and personality.
