★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel horrible doing a 2star but honestly not trying to be rude i wish i never got my hair done here, i got a special price which was great to go ombre from blonde, i left looking horribly patchy, i emailed the owner who was really nice and sent photos and said to come in to fix it for free which i appreciated. my booking was with the same hairdresser who made it darker but still patchy and like i had horrible regrowth, and at the end of my appointment still tried to charge me which made me feel very uncomfortable and awkward and had to show her the email saying no charge. My family even told me my regrowth looked horrible after 2 days of getting it done., how could she think my haor looked ok, and let me leave the salon looking like that. I had to get my hair done for a 3rd time by another hairdresser to get the results i was after And she did it perfectly. I wish i could upload photos on this to show the results of how it looked. And if she was training i was never told which i should have been made aware of because of her skill level. **first photo was taken 1 day after getting my hair done, 2nd photo is before getting my hair fixed by another hair dresser about 1 week later**

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences I've had! Matthew is a true professional and knows what he does, especially when it comes to pixie cuts! He can tell what will work and what won't depending on your hair structure. He's also super nice and very kind:) Highly recommend this salon, they have great philosophy behind their work, great attitude and best hair service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience - I went to the salon, asked for a simple trim/bob cut and he initially gave me a bowl cut higher than my ears and I ended up leaving the salon with a pixie cut (never requested). I was a young girl and it was extremely hard to ask for it to be fixed up because it was already botched. The colours were off (toning wasn’t done correctly) and the cut wasn’t particularly great either, so I had to pay $180 to another salon to fix it. Wouldn’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been going to BlowUp hairdressing for more than 2 years for regular cuts and foils. The results are always, without fail, fantastic. It is this consistency of service and results that, in part, keeps me a very loyal client. What is also really important is that Matthew is an excellent stylist and business owner who treats his staff with respect, courtesy, and fairness. Which only makes going to the salon even more enjoyable. If you need an excellent hairdresser or colourist, and wish to spend your money at a salon that is not only excellent at all things hair but also treats it’s employees ethically this is the place.

I asked for a cut below my shoulders , I was left in tears as half my hair was cut off and got a poorly cut bob instead. Very disappointed never going there again. Completely did exactly what I asked not to! Don't recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I went I loved it! Booked with an amazing guys who gave me exactly what I wanted. I decided then and there that was gonna be my salon from now, but then the second time I was with a lady who barely acknowledged me and was talking to her friends I assume. She cut my hair and then took me to get it wash (which I never asked for and was to shy to say anything). Afterwards when I went to pay I was charged $50! She never once asked me if I wanted to wash my hair or even told me that it cost money to wash it. I was a broke student at the time and only had $60 set aside for the entire week. The second experience really wrecked my opinion and I haven’t Brent here since.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come here if you want to feel gender euphoria after your trim! I felt completely able to voice my desires for my hair, after 8 years of buzzing it myself because hairdressers tried to gender my follicles. Gallus is dope and will give you the cut you want. You will leave knowing your identity is welcome and respected. If that's not everything you want from a haircut then idk what to tell ya!
