β β β β β Went to this salon today after someone else messed up my haircut a few days ago. The guy, I believe it was either Christian or Chrisopher, was incredibly lovely and really listened to not only what went wrong but also what I was looking for to fix it. We looked at photos and he really spent time explaining how my hair would look etc. and made sure that we'd find a cut that would look good unstyled too. Really happy with the result and will definitely go back, I felt very supported and the outcome was great!

β β β β β Came in February, can't remember her name. Wash and cut were fine, nothing amazing. But she basically bullied me about there being silicon on my hair and doing a "test" on it by scraping the edge of her scissors down my hair, which is just some trending technique that proves nothing. She then goes on to say that I shouldn't be using the shampoo and conditioner I use and that I should buy their far more expensive products. I get that you have to push sales but it was shameless and rude. Paid something like $70 just to get told off when I never asked for advice, just a wash and cut

β β β β β I went to Synergy Willis Street over a month ago and was supposed to have an appointment with Christian (who I have had appointments with before, and he was great). When i arrived I was told Christian was busy so I had to wait, which I was happy to. However, while I was waiting, another stylist called Dori stepped in and tried to do the cut. I then asked why Christian wasn't doing the cut twice and said I would wait for him, however, she continued to insist on doing the cut for me. After a while I felt rude to continue to say no, so I said yes.
During the cut, she was telling me my hair was too fine so she couldn't do the cut without a wash (Christian didn't have this issue) and so we went to the sink and gave my hair a 1 min wash, which I was then charged the cost of a normal wash for.
The cut itself was also the complete opposite of what I asked for and she removed all density from my hair which I specifically asked her not to.
The whole experience made me feel like she was doing me a favour to cut my hair and I didn't feel like a client at all.

β β β β β Express cut with Amber: Amber did an amazing job with a somewhat difficult ask with shaping some extensions and a general trim. She did exactly what I asked in the short 30min express timeframe and communicated really well with what she was doing as she went.

β β β β β Really good quality service and consultation provided. Finally found my go to olace for hair needs! Have been going there since beginning of the year and love it. Jie and Dori are the best hair doctors I have met in my entire life! I wish I could have gone to them from day 1. But itβs never too lateβ¦I can rely on them blindly. Everyone at the salon make you feel at home, a very friendly place you hardly find these days.
