★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cottages! Well equipped for short stays and basic cooking. Wifi works great and is unlimited. Beautiful location right outside of town, but close enough to drive in.
Would not recommend for backpackers hitchhiking from town to town. Find a place in The Anau.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good value for money, apartment was spacious and clean, with lots of outside space for bbq or just chilling out. The owner is very friendly and had lots of suggestions for fly fishing spots. My favourite aspect is the view: very beautiful 360 view on the very close surrounding nature. It is the perfect place to relax.
Small downside: a little distant from the town centre if you dont want to use the car (30-40 min walk) and no washing machine available (although I totally understand the reason: the apartments have to count on their own water supply and are not connected to the main grid). There is a laundrette in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First night of three, rain as we arrived so was very pleased with the warm welcome from Peter. And the heater was on. We were shown our property and all explained. Fantastic views towards the mountains and lake. The lodge we are staying at suits our needs perfectly. Great amount of space. Clean, tidy. Looking forward to staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I, along with a few friends stayed here after our wedding. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much. Beautiful setting and good facilities. Would absolutely recommend this place and love to stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular views, the cottage so clean and cozy, the best of all was Rachel and David, you feel at home immediately! So kind people and their pets they are out of this world, Rachel and all the pets came to say goodbye when we were leaving and I even felt sad to leave them behind. Will return for sure to the Blue Thistle Cottages, lets say there is so much good energy there!
