★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are good with the weekly rates (130 to 150 NZD per week). The kitchen could be bigger, 3 bathrooms in the hostel, Chill room with Television, The washing machine costs 2 NZD and you can hang your clothes outside.
Not the best hostel I have been to in New Zealand, but price quality is OK

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed in BWL for three months and been quite happy, it’s the people who made it fun, otherwise the place is trushed, cockroaches in any part of the building, blackmailing paying people to switch the wifi off If not washing dishes :D It’s property for sell atm, Thomas the owner doesn’t want to run this place any more and makes it obvious. And he’s creep, asian girls creep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's just the people there that made the place nice, apart from that very dirty, super cold in winter, there is basically no heating in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc.
One time a woman, a possible buyer of the hostel, just came inside the private room while I was still in bed. Very rude
Owner is also rude. WiFi was just available for some certain people. We just stayed there because of the people.
