At Art Deco Masonic Hotel, expressotel and The Rose Irish Pub, the health and safety of our guests, staff, visitors and community are of the utmost importance.
A My Vaccine Pass or official Ministry of Health endorsed exemption is no longer required to be presented at the hotels.Face masks for guests are optional.
Be assured that all other health and safety protocols such as social distancing, food service and cleaning have been designed in line with the protocols required under the COVID-19 Protection Framework. All cleanliness and hygiene procedures are overseen by a dedicated team of health and safety practitioners. Kitchen, back offices, guest rooms and public spaces are all subject to stringent disinfecting protocols, which includes all high-touch surfaces. We review our protocols regularly and any changes will be updated on our website and shared with our communities.
Dining With Us

β β β β β Recently stayed a couple of nights with the family, will definitely stay again. We normally stay elsewhere but the prices were crazy high so I looked around and came across this place for a good price to be honest I wasnt expecting too much for the price I did pay but I was pleasantly surprised how well presented the rooms were plus how comfortable the place felt. Even more of a bonus it's just a short tiny walk to the main shopping area. You're met by a lovely lady on the front desk who's every helpful/welcoming.. only downfall we found with the place is the tight parking glad we didn't bring our ute otherwise it would have been a nightmare getting in and out . There is a parking building across the road unsure if we could have parked there though

β β β β β Very convenient - within walking distance of everything. Spotlessly clean, and a helpful pleasant receptionist . Great value, especially as booked direct.
Would certainly stay again when in Napier and recommend to others.

β β β β β Stayed for a night. Was clean and tidy. No issues would have been a 4 or 5 start review. Untill a massive domestic started at 645am from some others staying on the same floor. Rang the number got no answer. Tried a second time and finally got a bloke at another hotel. Noone was at this place till 9 and just bet round the bush with no actual solution basically told if we think it's bad ring the police. After over an hour of listening to them we left early at 8. Terrible service. When you pay for a room you expect some sort of customer service. While a domestic isn't in your control the outcome and sorting it is. A real shame.

Plenty of restaurants nearby, with the added bonus of a farmers market outside on Saturday morning.
Recommend the bacon roll.

β β β β β Central, quality, quality restaurant attached with good menu. Just a couple of "cleanliness" issues noted... body hair evident in shower, glassware looking "grubby"... but otherwise a comfortable quality experience for the night.

Staff are great and the rooms are well appointment and very comfy.
Happily recommend going down to the Irish Rose for a drink which is owned by the same group.
Around 5 mins walk from the main shopping area and great cafes..

β β β β β Location and bed very good. Staff helpful and the room clean and tidy. Good supply of tea and coffee but no corkscrew for wine bottle.
Tv limited to usual channels only. Hot water variable and stone cold on the morning we left. Kept on going cold during evening shower on the first night. Parking difficult to manoeuvre but free parking across the road. Very central location
