★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guy is always friendly with me but cold with my wife when she goes in on her own - doesn’t speak a word to her, no greeting, no thanks, no eye contact - all he says is the price. Doesn’t seem to be any reason for it, maybe he’s got issues with females. The blonde woman who works there is a good sort though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to surprise my son from Holland with a bottle of champagne after finishing the Te Araroa trail in Bluff. One phone call and a few mails to the Bluff Liquor Centre did the trick: they made me a very good offer and made sure he got his bottle and the end of the trail!
