★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I parked here at 10am today in a motorhome, to go cycling for a couple of hours & buy morning tea at a local cafe. When I returned a local man immediately started moaning to me about freedom campers... alot of which he said was true & I agreed with. However I object to him telling me I shouldn't even be allowed to use the public toilet or a rubbish bin as his rates have paid for them to be used by local families who bring their kids to the beach not the likes of 'us'. This really goes too far, I should have asked him if he ever visits Tauranga whether he feels entitled to use a public toilet or rubbish bin, amenities my rates paid for!!
