β β β β β Had a fab time trying to breakout of the Vacancy room, but alas not quite (this time!!) We will absolutely be back to try again, the way the rooms were set out was fabulous a real feel to it, and the puzzles were well thought out and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend to anyone to do for a fun day out with family and friends.

β β β β β I was really disappointed with the room I did at Breakout. I have done a lot of escape rooms and this was by far my least favourite.
It didn't get off to a great start when staff mistakenly left a padlock in the room unlocked. The room lacked creativity and the puzzles I have come to expect from escape rooms. This room was just full of padlocks to unlock, which was tedious. I also didn't like that the room didn't flow. Each padlock that was opened felt like it led to a dead end, so you always felt like you were back at square one. There was also some very specific prior knowledge you would need to solve one of the stages of the room without a hint. There was no clue in the room to help with this. And the final stage of the room could only be solved by trial and error. I would have liked to see a cryptic clue or something to solve that rather than playing a guessing game.
Unfortunately I can't think of anything positive to say about the room and in my opinion, it needs a lot of work to bring it up to scratch. It felt like it was thrown together to cash in on the popularity of escape rooms.

β β β β β We had so much fun we did the identify room 5/5 difficulty we completed it on the last second with a little few clues from the tv
We tried a code to a safe but it didnβt work and at the end he opened it for us with the exact same code
A little annoying
Other than that very fun
Totally recommend

β β β β β I rate breakout a 1 for their customer service and creativity. I recently went there and did a couple of escape rooms. The stuff in there was very cheap and the rooms were quite small. If we asked for a clue we would have to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to finally respond. This wasted most of our time. The room we did required general knowledge about one specific thing and there was no clue about how to solve it. During the game we did something wrong and one of the staff members came in and told us how to get through it since we failed miserably. He then got mad that we chose one of the hardest rooms since we thought all the other rooms were pretty easy. He also got mad that one of the things was broken and he thought we had done it and when we said we hadn't, he replied very rude and sarcastic. We never passed this room but there was no reason for that staff member to be incredibly rude. When he told us our time ran out he then mentioned us to not take anything from the room. I have been to another escape room that is very creative and much more fun with a cheaper price. Overall breakout isn't very creative, overpriced, with slow and rude staff.

β β β β β We did the Vacancy room and the set up was brilliantly made and the puzzles were refreshingly different from other Escape Room styles. Really enjoyed it. Would have done another one right after but they were fully booked. Highly recommend to fellow escape room lovers!

β β β β β Booking was a little difficult as I had to book two separate ways to get two rooms booked for the same time.
Place was clean, staff were good, we enjoyed it. Rooms were a little lacking. Not as exciting or intricate as another I have done. Overall was okay, I took 11 staff on a work trip and we had fun.
