About Brewtown Upper Hutt
Brewtown Upper Hutt is Wellington’s only craft beer village with a number of great craft breweries and a boutique distillery and within walking distance of the Upper Hutt train station. We’ve got passion for craft brewing and we want to share it with you.
There's been a craft beer explosion throughout New Zealand, and the Hutt Valley is no exception. We've got a long history of manufacturing and innovation, so it's no surprise we have several breweries of our own. What started out as the Dunlop Tyres factory, has now become the hub of Upper Hutt, just 40 minutes from Wellington city.
Look around and you'll see signs of what it used to be. Take a picture with the old Dunlops sign that still sits proudly out front!

β β β β β Boneface Brewtown for dinner. Drinks were average, too much ice in soirits and they tasted watery, food was average, service was okay but no one came to collect plates at the end of our meal. I have been there before but was definitely better the first time. Prices way too high for food and alcohol considering venue is very basic.

β β β β β What an awesome place. All of the activities that you can do are really great. Went for an end-of-year function, and it was really well catered for. I think everyone had a great time. And the breweries are really awesome too, but with a name like that, it would be expected.

β β β β β We have often heard about Brewtown but had never been. It is so worth going. There are a number of breweries and food options available and seating inside and out. It has a lovely community vibe about it. We ate at Good George and the chicken and chips and drinks were good, the pizza was ok. There was a pool table and a Spacies machine to provide some fun. Next door to Good George is an ice skating rink, some coin operated games and bowling.
The bathrooms were clean and tidy and seemed well looked after.
Outside we saw axe throwing and there is a shop selling brew town t-shirts and beer related gift ideas.
We will be back.

β β β β β The weather was great, the staff friendly and helpful. Great afternoon (Xmas function). Several companies under giant marque, nice atmosphere with activities laid out for people to play. Great music from DJ. I can easily say it was the best Xmas function I have ever attended, and I have been to quite a few over the years. Definitely thumbs up ?

β β β β β Brewtown have everything. Distillery, Aro, Bonehead, Kereru, Good George, Panhead all breweries at one place. Food trucks outside provide good combination of things. Love the place as beer enthusiast.
