β β β β β Food was okay not that great and a bit long wait. Not a great place for good. Friends are okay with drink.
we had no idea where to get cultery the staffs didn't let us know we need to get by our self.
The cheesy chips comes with very little quantity of cheese.
Not recommending for food.

β β β β β Went on Saturday lunchtime, no booking, expecting a wait. From the first contact with the young woman at door to the moment we left the experience was superb! We were seated almost immediately, questions about the menu and beers answered cheerfully, and were made to feel like we were important, even tho they were really busy. Food was excellent, exactly as described. Beers were top notch and the atmosphere hums!
This joint would not be out of place in Auckland or Sydney!
Keep up the good work!

β β β β β UPDATE: had lunch at Boneface yesterday, the great food is back. Had the buttermilk chicken and the aged sirloin - both were top notch!
I'm not exactly thrilled to write this but it looks like my recent experience has been others experience too in the past few days. We first visited early March 2021 based on rave reviews from friends about the food. We had a double birthday celebration and everyone was blown away by the food. This week we went back and the menu had been changed, new chef apparently. All the good menu items were gone and the food was literally glorified bar food. My boys both had burgers that were big sliders. It wasn't a cheap meal out ie the gourmet prices for pub grub. We don't drink so while I'm sure the beer is the main attraction it's really disappointing to have taken a turn like this. They did say the menu was only temporary so I really really hope they sort themselves out and bring back the amazing food.

β β β β β Brewtown have everything. Distillery, Aro, Bonehead, Kereru, Good George, Panhead all breweries at one place. Food trucks outside provide good combination of things. Love the place as beer enthusiast.

β β β β β One lick of the bao bun and I'm yours bone daddy. We drove here from palmy for lunch, expectations were high (given the current price of petrol) We were not disappointed. You can't go wrong with the beers, they're always a good shout. There is some next level sorcery going on in that kitchen though. The ribs were crispy in all the right places but still pulled away from the bone. The brisket burger was beautifully balanced with the fluffiest of buns. My god the bao buns were to die for, I eat bao buns wherever I go and these were hands down the best. I'd give a kidney to eat those again. The service was exceptional and they actually looked happy to be there! Was so nice to see the staff having a laugh. Thanks Boneface.

They efficient: great beer just made, great service, decent choice of food, good and efficient service.
Overall I enjoyed my experience here and looking forward to coming back and trying new beers.
Highly recommended
Only cons. Background noise quite loud, expansive prices.
