★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely old building but the carpet looks like it desperately needs replacement. Heating/ insulation are inadequate, you can feel the cold coming up from the floor. Food was medeoca, the mayo was too sweet, no fish in
the croquettes, service as well. Not for me again, sorry

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered for delivery at 7.45pm and they accepted the order, charged my credit card and even started making the food. An hour has now gone by. No food in sight, just a very agitated uni student who was hoping to have a nice meal without having to take time away from her assignments to cook. It's not a cheap meal either. In the last 15 minutes the store has closed. Been trying to reach them to follow up for the last 30 minutes. Honestly a bit ridiculous, why do all that work if the food isn't even going to be delivered?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food although not much vegetarian and vegan options. The haloumi stacker was not on the menu? Also wheelchair table seating needs to improve by providing a better table so people wont bump into the wheelchair. Access to get into building was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally I would highly recommend this restaurant but not tonight. Our meal took an eternity to arrive and when it did some of it was cold and had to be reheated. However this was out of character and on that basis I would go there again and they did compensate us by providing free deserts. I hope the time factor can be looked at in future though but on the whole a nice meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place in Whanganui. As soon as we walked in the friendly waitress made us feel so welcomed with her smiles and charming attitude. The meal was superb and sizeable and I could not fault it at all. The steak was delicious as was the fish which was had by another family member. I did not know of this place before but we will certainly call again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got to hand it to The Brick house they never disappoint. Many occasions we have come here to enjoy good quality homely style meals and it's always worth it.
From there $10 breakfast menu which is of course plentiful, to the lunch menu and then dinner.
All very affordable prices in my opinion whether you wanting to do a function or enjoy a date night with a loved one. Grab a bite to eat with a friend or colleague they got ya covered there at the brickhouse.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is lively even when it's a busy time of the day.
Gorgeous style to the place and there's plenty of places to sit and enjoy your meals.
Child friendly I celebrated my 30th here 3 years ago and had my niece and nephews and they let them play and enjoy themselves as well.
There's the option of making a meal a half size because they are very big portions which is great, an entire kids menu as well.
