β β β β β Finally got to try Brightside after being on the Coast nearly 2 years. Ordered burgers, fish and chips. The burgers were the usual fish and chip shop quality so a bit average, but the fresh snapper was lovely and the chips were fresh and tasty. As per other reviews they clearly change the oil in the fryers regularly, so everything has that clean taste. I'll skip the burgers next time but will definitely be back for more fish and chips.

β β β β β Order placed via phone, the worker did not discribe the food properly then the worker got very aggressive when we went to pick up the order realising it was wrong. Would not recommend unless you want to be shouted at in a rude unprofessional manner.

β β β β β Last 3 times I have been to this takeaways I have been over charged on chips. Hot dog has a teaspoon of sauce in the bag, and food is reallyaverage.

β β β β β Good fish and chips in the classic wrapped in paper style. Only marked down from 5 stars because the batter of the fish and potato fritters were oilier than one would like. Chips were good.

β β β β β 2nd time we've tried this place, shouldn't have given them a 2nd chance. they lost the order and had to wait 45min. the fish is passable but the chips are the worst I've ever had, soggy and oily. wouldn't waste money here. never again

β β β β β Wouldnβt recommend, Me and my friend went for some fish and chips on a beach day, said it opened at 12 online and at the front door. But yet it was 12.30 and no one was in there we had called twice and nobody picked up. Wasnβt the first time this had happened. Have eaten there before and wasnβt the greatest the batter on the fish was quite oily, chips were ok.

β β β β β So while recently visiting family back home here in Stanmore Bay I decided to get some dinner. I went down to brightside takeaways. Firstly they told me they had no menus I could take to look at, then when I rang up and ordered kumara chips, this is what $5 got me! Like I get the cost of living has gone up but this is pathetic.
