★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 35 minutes. Poked my head in the doorway a couple of times to be told it's a minute away. Then after 40 minutes he said they'd mislaid the order. Extremely frustrating. Took them 8 more minutes to make it. Food was yum though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not hygienic.. pretty disgusted after watching them for a long time while waiting for food. Also they don’t follow the COVID regulations that are currently in place at level 3.
Waited 50 minutes for fish and chips to find out mine had just been sitting there and they never called my name. Took it home and it was beyond greasy and cold. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. A lot of better options in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great quality food, although the fish portions were tiny, certainly a lot smaller than they used to be. However, what really shocked me was the COVID-19 compliance. The person running food between the counter and the door was wearing no face mask or gloves (I apologise if you're exempt but please wear some proof of exemption) and one of the cooks had his mask hanging below his chin. Considering the North Shore currently houses one of the two biggest clusters in New Zealand, this is really concerning to see. We love to come and support you guys but please take care of us customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the worst fish’n’chips I had! Too greasy and too much batter on the fish…. The place looked shabby too and not too clean…. May be I’m asking too much, but it’s just an opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phoned in an order to a curt young woman. According to the website it should have cost $14.40. On arrival I noticed the prices have increased substantially - cost was $22.00 !!! Fish on website is $2.70, but is $4.50. Chips on website are $2.70, but cost $4 a scoop. Surely the website should be updated? They do not provide a paper menu - some lame excuse. To top it off one item was paid for but left out, as I discovered when I got home.
Moderate sized fish had large amount of batter to make it look bigger. Only positive was the chips were nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to enjoy fish n chips from here. Last time the portions were tiny, greasy and soggy.
Thought it maybe just a one off but no. Rang through order, got there and they had no record of it, showed them my phone with the list of food, then when we opened it they forgot half of the order but charged us for it. Then they wanted to charge me again after already charging me. The quality was disgusting. Could have eaten better quality fish washed up on the shore 5 weeks ago laying in the hot sun!
Appalling quality. Appalling service. Appalling takeaways.
Never go there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a steak and egg burger with about $60 worth of other food. No egg. And half a peice schnitzel. No greens or garnish.. chips were a joke for the price and the customer service we got was an apsolutle joke. Never again. Such a shame as was once my no.1 go too..
