★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this place! It has everything, books, stationery, toys, souvenirs, coushions, cards, all sorts of gifts... I always find something unique here. And it is not crazy expensive like whitcouls. If you are after a charming birthday gift, this place is perfect.
Lovely couple are owners and work there, always pleasant, helpful and with a smile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Provides an adequate selection of literature with a good variety of trinkets and stationery items. However, I must add that my family and I are still recovering from being falsely accused of stealing a cheap keychain.
Response to counter: I would first like to apologise for not realising that the items were not to be touched but rather "browsed". Secondly, I'm sorry if this review brought you any offense but I do believe that you are mistaken. The item of discussion was returned to it's original whereabouts. Did it once leave the shop?.. No it did not. Therefore I do believe that your point is invalid. Furthermore, I do not believe that it was in your words simple and normal to accuse a ten year old of stealing. Please in the future, have higher standards for children, that they would not attempt to tarnish their own reputations for a key chain. I personally would never see myself stealing and hope that despite all your suspicions, you would see that not everyone is out to steal your property.
