β β β β β I have been treated by both female doctors over a period of 9 years and have now left the practice due to feeling frustrated with the level of care... Mostly I felt a general complacent lack of concern or interest to investigate from the doctors and that I had to ask for tests or referrals to specialists and continually follow up myself. Nurses were OK, Admin would never tell you Doctor was running late, just leave you sitting there.

β β β β β To tell you the truth, I hope I can rate zero star instead of one. Had an appointment with Dr Spencer who was very unhelpful and attentive with my βsimplestβ concerns. He was quite skeptical when I expressed what my concerns were. Felt like he was not willing to help you out or listen to what my concerns were. Not coming back here.

β β β β β I keep hoping things will change and they DONβT at this practice.
I rang for a script repeat and was told the doctor insists I come in for a full appointment. When I arrived, not a single individual in the practice (receptionist, doctors, nurses or patients) was wearing a mask. Setting a VERY POOR example for the community as just the day prior Iβd been to ShoreCare where masks were handed out upon arrival.
As per usual, I the doctor was running very late and I had to wait close to 30 minutes. I ended up being charged for a full doctors appointment despite JUST needing a script repeat.
Today Iβve truly had enough and will be transferring my patient info to a different practice. Simply put: donβt come here.

β β β β β Friendly, get appointments booked easily, scripts sent direct to pharmacies of our choice & ability to be seen remotely at our preference. Very prompt in doing a Covid test. Definitely recommend!?

β β β β β Very inattentive doctors and unfriendly receptionists. I feel like some of the doctors lacks knowledge and skills.
I highly recommend people NOT to go to this clinic if your concerns are related to Injury/ ACC. Does not help at all. Really made me be skeptical about NZβs primary health care system (GP). Today sure will be my last visit here!!!

β β β β β We have moved to West Auckland a year ago but still goes to this clinic - we are very happy to travel 20 minutes to go here. Clean facility and friendly staff (all - doctors, nurses and receptionists). Doctors are always very attentive to my concern.

β β β β β Amazing clinic, Sheryl is a fantastic knowledgeable doctor, the nurses are well informed and lovely staff all round. Very accommodating. I no longer live on the shore but still use this practice as I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

β β β β β Really disappointed with their service and won't recommend anyone to go there!!!
My partner registered with them about two years ago and prob only went there a couple times. Well..we don't need to go if we are not sick right?! He remembered there was something happened last time and he was considering changing to another GP but couldnt remember exactly what.
He got sick a couple days ago and just thought he'd still call them and book an appointment with them.
The person who picked up the phone said" well..yes you registered but you havent come to us for a while, right?" My partner said "yea but I havent been sick". Then she said" Then you need to re-register with us again" And my partner said "what? ok. how could I book an appointment?" She said" well..you can try Shore Care". Basically she just asked my partner to go somewhere else.
I never have to re-register with my own GP and the receptionist from my GP never talked to me like this.
