β β β β β We really enjoy our stay here it was located in a beautiful place with easy to get to the town there are restaurant within walking distance two minutes away the settlers museum is worth a visit

β β β β β Very clean and tidy units. Ample space and comfy beds. View of harbour made for interesting view of cruise ship passengers queuing to board tenders at quay side.

β β β β β A beautiful place to stay in Akaroa. Perfect for families. The apartment was exceptionally well located and well appointed. Spacious bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom. Very comfortable beds.
You can walk everywhere to eateries, and access the wharf across the road, or trot along the lane to check out the lighthouse.

β β β β β Water pressure in shower in unit 29 was non existant and there were dirt Mark's on the bathroom door.. which may have been from a dog. Considering the price we were disappointed due to these. Great location and view though. This was our second stay and wasnt as good as our first.

β β β β β The room was not serviced well. We had to ring up to get towels and go to the office to get toilet paper.
We should have known this may not be the best when we made a booking. By phone and asked for an email confirmation in total we did this 7 times and still go not e ail confirmation of booking or the rate. Subsequently when we arrived the daily rate was higher than expected from the initial phone booking. We believed they just charged what they felt like.
That apartment it self had good facilities and. Ending good however not that clean.
All the cups were all tea stained and needed to be cleaned before use. The dish washer tabs half normal size with a poor outcome after wash.
The shower had brown staining on the bottom and shower and walls plus around the shower doors. Some bleach would have easily cleaned this, as well the toilet stained and bleach with a scrub would have sorted. The bathroom basin appeared blocked and required effort to drain.
For the money of $390 a night we have stayed in far super accommodation for half the price.
I do not mind paying top dollar for a well presented CLEAN apartment.
On the plus side views over harbour were fabulous.
