Our teams can head out and visit a community group, or welcome a community group into the D.I.Y. area for a workshop.
Workshops are tailored for the needs of each community group and can include gardening, craft, woodwork, water and energy saving activities, as well as kids activities.

โ โ โ โ โ Lots of building materials, place is huge and clean on each isle. Staff are very helpful. There is a small cafe inside and usually they do sausage sizzle in the underground carpark. Pets are allowed instore provided it on a leash and well behaved. Bravo to bunnings for allowing pets to come along?

โ โ โ โ โ Normal layout and arrangement quite a decent sized store. Parking underneath with user friendly access. I took kids we went in lift very big lift too. Friendly staff with the small kids trolleys available to push around, play ground was open, small Cafe and toilets on site which were ok. Had everything we needed no real hassles at all. Thumbs up.

โ โ โ โ โ It has taken me almost two weeks to find the words and reflect on the extremely disguising discrimination experienced at the new lynn store a couple of Thursdays ago.
Do not go to this store if you are neuro diverse or have any form of difference in cognitive ability. Or enter at your own risk. They clearly do not value differences in personality and will swiftly exit you from the store if they don't understand. I gave two stars because the young guy in tools was very helpful and deserves some credit.
Note to the manager, you declined to explain why or what the issue was. despite calmly being asked twice, you said "just leave"
This was both distressing and confusing, to the point of visible sadness. You would not let the purchase get completed nor give your name for later discussion.
You need some education on how to treat people because when you aggressively force a person with ASD and ADHD out of a store they were very excited to be at and actually spend ALOT of money, it is extreme distress like you could never imagine and to top it off because your security guard forcefully made her exit from the front door, quite in her face, she became disorientated, not knowing how to find the carpark were she had been parked below the store.
Is this how Bunnings handles disability? All you had to do is say, "hey are you ok?, you seem......." and talk to her, maybe then you would have learnt something new, instead of thinking you know it all. She is a professional hard working women and you have significantly damaged her confidence causing an increased anxiety in all Bunnings stores now. Her Favorite store. You make me sick!
