Our teams can head out and visit a community group, or welcome a community group into the D.I.Y. area for a workshop.
Workshops are tailored for the needs of each community group and can include gardening, craft, woodwork, water and energy saving activities, as well as kids activities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two weekends in a row we have shopped here, we won’t be back. The store has no air conditioning and minimal fans blowing around hot air couple this with compulsory mask wearing and it’s a recipe for disaster. Both times we’ve had to leave because the heat is unbearable. We are trying to do a full house renovation but will go elsewhere as spending an hour plus in there would be an absolute nightmare. Sort it out Bunnings Rotorua, I can’t imagine how your staff cope.

Best Bunnings store I've been to and a real asset to Rotorua. The staff even acknowledged you as you/they walked passed and some even, in the isle, asked if they could help - for Bunnings, WOW. She is unable to spot top performers and stay out of the way while supporting by recognition autonomy or opportunities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No customer service at all. Lots of team members walking around and standing in groups talking to each other. Waited over 45 minutes for staff help after it was put over the intercom, ended up walking out and shopping and Mitre 10. The coffee breaks seem pretty important! Also, hardly anything is where it is meant to be and in very unusual layouts. You find yourself going from isle to isle a lot.
