★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have eaten here before and always been happy altho the service is sometimes slow. My partner was happy with his veal parmigiana. I had the fillet steak which was tough and dry altho the sauce was very tasty. I was offered a complimentary dessert as I had been unhappy with my main. We will return, but wont risk the steak again.
The veall fiorentina is always good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for dinner last night as a group of 6. None of us had dined here before but the restaurant was packed! Not a table spare. We knew it had to be good! They had sold out of entree pizza breads and the waiter told us this as we sat down. He told us they could do ciabatta bread for us with the dips instead, which we did and it was delicious. 5 of our group ordered pasta and I got the Quattro formaggi pizza. My pizza was delicious! You could taste every one of the cheeses on it, and then the chilli flakes gave it a fantastic kick! My husband got the gnocchi ragu and I had food envy. It was delicious! We all said we would be back! Delicious food, great service! Very impressed!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointingly average. This place used to be excellent. A local favorite. Had many functions here in the early days and it was always excellent. Been twice in last couple of years and both times it has been very average. Menu is very much the same, good selection, reasonable pricing and serving size, but execution is substandard. Chef may have changed. From dirty glasses to what appeared and tasted like re-heated food, tasteless cream sauces (a mainstay of a good chef), it's sadly a far cry from its post-Botticelli glory days. Which is a shame, as it used to be consistently excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcome to 2002! But with modern inflated prices. This place is like a step back in time, and not in a good way. Ignore the 5 star reviews of this place, obviously the Devonport local crowd that don’t get out much. $28 for a really average pasta dish with very dry chicken…. If you are going to charge high end prices you better back it up with the goods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality has gone down enormously. It used to serve quality authentic freshly made meal, but not anymore. The pasta sauce are cheap tasting. Also, the desserts (Meringue and Creme Brule) are cheaply made probably outsourced from some cheap bakery. We are local and used to love this place and was proud of it but not anymore. Wish the new owner kept the quality. Won't be coming back to this restaurant anytime soon until they give love back to their customers by serving quality meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow our son who is in the Navy here in Devonport recommended this restaurant as he knows we love Italian food. It was beautiful, the food was delicious, a lovely menu and the staff were very attentive. Nice selection of wine but also a BYO. The two nights we were in Devonport it was fully booked so would definitely recommend booking so you are not disappointed. We will definitely be back, thank you ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful gem in Auckland! Easy ride from the ferry from CBD (adds to the experience) and fabulous food! Authentic Italian with generous servings.
We were in a bit of a hurry and after explaining our situation we got served very quickly!
