β β β β β If I could have given 6 out 5 I would have. Look, I don't know if the food is authentic; who cares when it tastes as good as it does? This was my first visit and prior to this I always drove to Satya from Takapuna to find good curry; that will change. I had lamb sag which was the best I have had since my days in London; the biriyani balanced dry and moist and our dahl was delicious. We will go back and try further dishes. But it was obviously food prepared with care and attention

β β β β β We had an absolutely awesome experience, very welcoming hosts, mesmerising ambience, great food, a nice selection of quality liquor. The best part was that I relished authentic Indian food with a nice blend of spices; the way itβs meant to be. Thanks to Nitin for advising Bhuna chicken with Coriander and green chilli roti; was a tasteful combo. We had a friend visit us who was vegetarian and he was also impressed with the quality of food. A great place for family get together. Definitely recommended if youβre at Devonport even looking to have a family dinner, with beautiful views just a few mins of walk. Hope to visit soon again.

β β β β β Really great Indian restaurant in davenport. We just ended up going in as we were hungry after a little trek up mount Victoria. The place is smallish but has a nice rustic ambience. The food took a little while but it was certainly worth it and we were warned that it was quite busy so the food will take 20-30 mins.
We ordered Paneer tikka masala, dal tadka and garlic naan. Both entrees come with rice as well. We had asked for hot ( spicy) and it was just perfect for our palette. The food was piping hot, the flavors really good and the naan was also nice and soft. They even boast a large drinks menu in case anyone wanted a side of wine or other drinks to go with the food.

β β β β β I used to live in Kingsland and thought Paradise Indian in Sandringham was the best. However, since having the Paneer Makhani from Flying Rickshaw, the top spot has been stolen! I probably have it once a week O_O
Absolutely delicious, and the butter chicken fries?! Sensational.

β β β β β Great food, ambience and service. Large, varied menu - ask for Indian hot if you like it very spicy! Will definitely return

β β β β β Have been getting takeaway many times from here over the last few weeks. Delicious curries, efficient service and good value. The butter lamb is a bit too sweet for my liking; but thatβs a personal preference and Iβm sure lots would prefer the sweetness. Great level of spice in all their curries.
