★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible wait times when busy. Staff on busy shifts don't communicate and just don't serve people, leaving customers wondering what is going on. Drive through often closed. It's a poor management issue, mostly not individual staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got breakfast here. Coffee machine 'has been broken for 6 weeks' sounded like she was blaming us! Overcooked, cold, chewy muffins were barely edible. The crunchy egg shell wasn't plesent. Pretty disgusting really. Left a horrible taste in my mouth. The fresh orange juice was a bottle of keris. Keep driving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely convenient as on State highway 1 as you pass through Turangi. Combined with Z Petrol station and convenience store. Plenty of parking and toilets. Food was ok but BQ was extremely short staffed with delays as staff struggled to cope. Not the fault of the staff, felt sorry for sole server.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rudest staff ever! Just ordered through drive through at Turangi Burger King. At 8.45pm the lady who was on drive through was so rude, seemed so rush when taking our order. Didn’t ask us what flavour drink we wanted and I also ordered nuggets with no response of what sauce I wanted. The lady then proceeded to give us coke when we ordered lift. She said it was our fault cause we didn’t ask to swap the drink. Ignored us at the window for 10 minutes when trying to ask for our drink we ordered. Never had such bad customer service, she seemed like she hated her job and didn’t wanna be there at all. Dunno why she doesn’t just leave her job cause she seems so miserable!!! Need to fire this team member I’m sure she’s been rude to a lot of her other customers too. Need higher management in there to sort it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Friday evening. Shop appeared reasonably busy. We did order for 4 meals but got delivered only 3. On enquiry, asked to see our meal bag which was open in the shop as we decided to dine in. We got our paid burger and hot chocolate at the end. No word of apology and staff appeared very impatient when we asked about missing burger too. The taste of hot chocolate was ‘yuck’ as we kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe your Turangi store needs a visit from management to explain what a good standard of service is - we’ve been waiting in the drive through line for over twenty minutes, once the car ahead of us pulled up to the speaker box they were told ‘if you want to place an order it’ll take 10-15 minutes to prepare’ which they’ve now been waiting 15 minutes to literally just place an order, let alone get through the drive through. Really, compared to other fast food chains Burger King is far behind - purely for the customer service and lack of speed - at this stage I wouldn’t consider it fast food, as a three course dinner could’ve been cooked in the time we’ve sat here, I mean I literally had time to write this entire review. Burger King up your game, this isn’t the only location that struggles with efficiency.

On another note, I found it hard to connect with the cashier as they were waiting for me to do all the talking (ordering) without any questions or feedback.
Not many people eating in so the speed of the food was great. Three stars.
