★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice hour walk. About 3.6km up (approximately 7km in total according to fitbit) Quite steep in parts but manageable, even by the unfit. Many fitter people run up it after work for exercise. Nice views from the top of Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Petone, Wellington, the South Island, and even Whiteman's Valley.
Parking is a bit limited but lots of streets nearby to park and walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a really good, fairly steep 40 minute or so walk up the zig zag track from Tulsa Park to this trig. Once you get there the view across the valley of Upper Hutt (on a fine day) is impressive. Although the viewing area isn't that big or great. There's just a couple of park benches at the base of the trig. From the trig you can walk on to other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great fitness reward close to the neighbourhood - and it’s one stop along the Cannon Point walkway loop that makes a great regular circuit.
Views all the way up and down the Hutt Valley, over to Wellington and even to the Kaikoura mountain range. The track has just been resurfaced with gravel so brings us back in wetter months.
