★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Godfrey and Trish have managed 2 properties for us. One for about 4 years, one for just over 1 year. When we got the second property we had no hesitation in choosing Champion. We have always been impressed by their immediate communication, advice, choice of tenents, and the quality of their inspections. Because of the work that they do our rentals have been stress-free profitable investments. I will continue to use Trish for our future investments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a current tenant for a champion property for the last year, I have mixed feeling about how things are managed. I have been a renter for 14years in Nelson and have dealt with a vast range of owners and managers in that time.
Although Champion are good at communicating with tenants both in advance and in response - the way in which this is done and operations are achieved is lacking in its human management.
Because of this (and despite the fact that I'm a respectful tenant who also has good credit and a good renting history), I don't feel like I want to make the same effort that I have always done in the past when I leave this current property. The extra work on my part is not going to be appreciated or translate as beneficial to my future as my manager has told me that she is not aloud to write a rental reference for me. This sort of thing will have a long term impact on my renting record as a verbal reference wont always be achievable at 5years down the track.
This is due to the lack of effort being made to the ethical responsibilities that property managers have to tenants at Champion.
The little things that affect day-to-to enjoyment eventually build up to be problems by the end of a tenancy, such as; having trades people who were doing quotes being sent through the house unattended with a key, of which I was instructed of by email. I would have prefered that either I or the property manager was present had I have been given the respect of that option.
It was even suggested to me that I should pay for the carpet to be cleaned after the tradesman have done the renovations that my tenancy is being ended to achieve - a month or so after the date that I will have been moved out!!!
Showing a little respect for the fact that currently the house is somebodies home goes a very long way and actions like not providing times of property inspections so I could arrange my life to be there also is another ridgid demonstration of how their customer/client interactions could be improved.
If I was a home owner, I would want my property manager to avoid needlessly causing tenant resentment by attending to all aspects of the job and client relationship.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Champion Property staff is ok. I do understand that they want they want the property they manage to be clean as possible and the payment should be on time. Always advices in advance whenever they will come and visit the house that you are renting. As a tenant, I know that the property owners are in good hands with them because they do their job well in maintaining the property..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have rented from Champion Property for 3 years and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! Family started business, Godfrey's a charmer and Grace (Daughter) is awesome to deal with! On the odd occasion we've had an issue, I swear it was the following day we had a Handyman knocking at our door to fix it. Very grateful for their help. Will continue with them with comfort :D

In my dealings with all their staff I've always received prompt attention to requests and good communication.
Champion Property Management are 1 of 2 property management companies I provide services to due to their excellent business ethics and I have not on any occasion seen any instance of neglect of properties or their owners.
If I were to consider purchasing an investment property and required a property manager Champion Property Management would most certainly get the job.
