★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in the one bedroom spa apartment. The rooms and all ammenities were clean and in great condition, loved the choice of NZ nature inspired handwash, shampoo, conditioner body wash and hand & body cream, a nice touch compared with the usual mediocre small tubes that you normally get at others. The hosts were welcoming, super friendly and helpful with local tips and recommendations. The location is great, walking distance to city centre and local parks. All in all a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Immaculately maintained and very well run property. Friendly, helpful hosts. This motel is a cut above the ordinary - you could even say a hidden gem. Its an easy walk to the centre of the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were made to feel super welcome and was fantastic we were able to have our dog with us. The rooms were super comfortable, especially the bed. It was in close walking distance to some of the restaurants which were also dog friendly. We had a great stay that we decided to rebook for the following week.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights in a lovely clean King Room upstairs with our dog. We were made to feel very welcome by Dean and Tomoko who always made themselves available if we needed them. A great spot so close to everything (5 minute drive to Tahuna beach) and with a special crepe cafe a few steps away. The shower was amazing every time! Thanks for a great stay. It was lovely to meet you all. We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to stay. the rooms are well equipped and very clean. After a long day on the road it was nice to be welcomed to a very friendly environment. I was impressed to see a EV charger also being pet friendly. I was lucky enough to bump into some of the day staff and thanked them for providing us with a well presented room.
This i think is a testament to the hard work and commitment from Tomoko and Dean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay here was fabulous! The room was clean and comfortable. The location was also great not far from the town which was perfect for us! The hospitality was outstanding and we felt very welcomed staying here and anything we needed was not a problem. We will definitely be coming back to stay here in the future!! Thank you Dean and Tomoko for being so kind and welcoming we loved staying here :)

Our room was well equipped, comfortable, and quiet.
Great location, just a few minutes walk to the city centre.
I believe you can bring pets here, and I only know that from reading other reviews, you wouldn't be able to tell from being in the rooms.
