β β β β β Never have I ever experienced such rude service from a shop owner.
I like to vote with my wallet and ensure that the clothes I buy are made ethically. I really liked the one line drawing on a top. since the top was $90 I kind of assumed that maybe the women making these clothes would be paid a living wage.
I asked the lady behind the counter who was nice enough and she said if I came back in 5 minutes I could wait to ask the owner of the shop.
As I loved the the top, I came back in 5 minutes later to be belittled by the shop owner, who responded βif you care so much about where your clothes are from, why donβt you go and shop at Glassons?β
The hypocrisy of this comment literally left me leaving the store with my jaw dropping. I think a 1 star rating is generous for this over priced, cheap labour clothing.
-A suggestion for the shop owner: learn how to treat customers fairly & donβt get so defensive when someone asks βwho made your clothes.β If someone is spending money in your store, they have a right to ask.
