paneer curry was way too oily and full of undercooked big chunks of onion
Samosas were fine but overcooked
Bread - actually inedible for us.
I'm sorry, we are sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant food is delicious, consistent. I have made few recent visits with my pregnant wife and she loves the curries. I would like to make a mention of yesterday, when we wanted to pick up food and got late coz of the wait in hospital. The staff was waiting with our food after restaurant hours. This is high level of hospitality being demonstrated. The manager was kind generous and empathetic to my situation. The owner is also keen on taking feedback each time, which shows his passion towards food and takes pride in the quality maintained. Highly recommend chicken tikka, kadhai paneer and biryani and black lentils cooked to perfection. Kudos to team and chefs working behind the scenes.

Chicken 65, amazing
Bhuna lamb, delicious
Chole Batura, delicious, and the fried bread it comes with too.
Butter chicken was great, not too sweet.
I'll definitely be going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chilli Peppers is honestly one of the best Indian restaurant's in Wellington, the curries are delicious and flavorful no matter the spice tolerance you have. I love my curries spicy and I enjoy how they have the perfect blend of heat and flavor to the food, and my mum doesn't like spicy foods but still finds the mild curries full of flavor.
And if the curries are good then their accompaniments are just as delicious, the breads are so good and the rose milk is a high recommend to go with the curries.
This place is highly recommended and will be going again.
