β β β β β This hotel cannot find bookings in their system. It also has a stupid policy of providing extra towels only when housekeeping gets a chance to clean the room. The hotel also has a bunch of unprofessional staff . It is a better option to pay more and stay at a better property which can provide basic amenities like extra towels.

β β β β β Poor experience with inexperienced staff, badly designed rooms and no frills. Doesn't live up to the photos or advert. At $150 is already overpriced. Shouldn't be named as a hotel but sterile air less rabbit hutch.

β β β β β We have missed our evening flight and had to find a (nice) place to stay overnight. It has been very stressful and we have made some mistakes but Montana is a superstar! She efficiently helped us with a complicated booking dilemma. Needless to mention the brand new and clean facilities after we entered our room. Great service and experience. Location is also neat, will stay again if we visit chch at another time!

β β β β β We had an excellent stay at Christchurch City Hotel. The location is terrific; right in the city centre with easy access to many landmarks, shopping and dining. We stayed on the 4th floor and heard absolutely no noise from the street. The rooms are spacious, luxuriously furnished and very comfortable. The staff were very kind and friendly every time we passed through the lobby and happy to help with information and suggestions. We would definitely recommend the City Hotel and happy to stay here again on our next visit to Christchurch!

β β β β β Such a stylish and modern hotel! Not only with the beautiful circled window, but also excellent services, professional front desk with friendly meet and greet. Love that especially when I checked in in the midnight, the front desk was still around to meet and greet and even knew my name. Not like those nowadays only give me the key in the lock box. Feel warm and safe though I arrived so late.
