About Coastal Autos
Brett and Nicola van Huenen opened Coastal Autos in Papamoa in 2017. Brett is a highly skilled and experienced mechanic and Nicola comes from a business and design background. Our company values of integrity, respect, excellence, and dedication have helped us build a highly reputable business with a loyal customer base. Our team is well placed to help keep your vehicle safe on the road. We are privileged to be entrusted with many different vehicles - from the standard family run around, to project cars that have had many years of love, sweat and tears poured into them. We also look after a number of local business' with fleets of up to 40 vehicles.
We believe to be the best, you have to hire the best. Our team is our greatest asset. We are tight knit and fun loving but we know how to work hard, often under pressure, and we take pride in exceeding our customer's expectations. Our team consists of three qualified, highly skilled, and experienced mechanics, two apprentices, a service advisor plus our administration team.

We know you'd rather be doing anything else than taking your vehicle to your local mechanic which is why we aim to make your experience as hassle free as possible. We provide a courtesy/loan vehicle (conditions apply) and an early drop off/late pick up service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serviced and wof, my vehicle recently paid on the day $400 but the vehicle failed. Told me my car needed an additional $300-400 in order to pass the WOF inspection. I took to another mechanic who said this is not the case it passed and I only paid $200. Some of the issues that coastal autos were saying needed repairing were non issues. Costal autos have engaged an outside party to complete their wof inspections and have over sold some of my friends as well. Buyer beware.
