★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hastings mitre 10 coffee shop- No point removing used dishes from tables if your not going to wipe them clean!! Staff just keep walking past missing the obvious. No point of having 2m rule in cafe if you can't wipe down food and hair on table for next patron.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food always well presented. Lovely range of savoury lunches. Generous sized and delicious muffins. Coffee most times very good, occasionally burnt. Still one of our favourite cafes. Recently had a change of layout, more open and airy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Iced chocolates are awesome! Chicken cranberry panini lacked cranberry -almost none. Coffee is always good. Cheese scone could possibly have done with a little more cheese. Otherwise great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was pretty busy but we got our food and coffee rather quickly. My coffee was good and the eggs bene was pretty good too, only comment I have is all of our poached eggs were overcooked and almost hard boiled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not the staff persons fault at all, but we had ordered food, their rewards system is beyond hopeless and didnt redeem the points we had accumulated, or even have our card as registered.
we then had to register online only to say it was already registered, then an error message popped up to ring the 0800 number, to then get told we have to email customer services!
AND our order in the meantime was on hold until we paid the part of the order that was meant to be redeemed by points. I had a hungry toddler and baby that got impatient and frustrated because we didnt know it was even on hold until i asked where the order was.
UPDATE the lovely wait staff gave us free coffee for the trouble, and the issue has been resolved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, bright, friendly, and it's nice to stop and think before that major purchase at mitre 10. I love the orange cakes, but find the frosting a bit too sweet. Great coffee as always!
