β β β β β Moving my belongings from Melbourne while being in NZ was a very stressful process, but Conroy's made this process so streamline and calm right from getting a quote to packing my belongings, shipping to NZ and storing in the Tauranga branch till I was ready to collect. All my belongings wereΒ packed fantastically. I couldn't recommend a more organised, streamline and stress free removal company.

β β β β β Initially positive experience prior to moving day - Conroy's had communicated clearly but after a last minute change to our schedule had failed to reconfirm a delivery date and an uplift time.
I was contacted after 6pm on the evening prior to our uplift day with a time that was much later than expected. This significantly delayed our plans. Upon delivery, we found that multiple large pieces of furniture (bunk beds, dressers, cabinets) had been damaged beyond repairs. Delivery staff were not concerned about this result and just shrugged it off. This company clearly does not take pride in its work. Sloppy communication and damaged goods.

β β β β β Appalling! The worst delivery company I have ever come across. Have had two separate furniture deliveries arranged to be delivered by this company to Wellington. Both times no communication as to delivery times, when discussed with the boss there has been still no delivery on the assigned day (taken time off work to be home for delivery etc). No phone calls. No txts.
These guys are cowboys, do not use ever.

β β β β β Not impressed with Conroys at all. At first I was pleased by the professionalism and promptness of their quote, and this put my mind at ease about moving my furniture from Wellington to Auckland.
Things took a downturn later on. Their communication during the move was not great - after hearing nothing from the removal company in the lead up to the move I had to contact the centre on the day of my move to query what time they would be coming, and the furniture arrived in Auckland at 8am with no pre-warning whatsoever.
Despite me clearly stating what items I was moving, the removal people did not bring a cover for my bed, and it is now dirty and damaged.
They also broke a mirror during the move.

β β β β β Awesome experience with Conroy. I was reluctant to use a moving company due to having a bad experience with a different company (never use Efficient Movers), however Conroy made everything a breeze. Conroy had great communication and everything arrived when stated, and undamaged.

β β β β β Appalling service. All smiles and happiness during the quoting and booking stage but then near-impossible to get hold of when it came to moving day. The crew that turned up to our Christchurch address turned up three hours late and hadn't read the notes on the docket about the moped. Upon arrival in Wellington we queried where our household goods were and were told "they'll arrive today... if we can find a truck, that is." Finally turned up at 4pm and clearly didn't care about what they were doing. Moped damaged, boxes damaged, items missing, I watched their staff drop the box that had the TV in it... and after countless emails, I am STILL waiting for a callback from the Wellington branch manager. Campbell, put your big boy pants on and return my call - it's been six months. Everyone else, take your money and go elsewhere. These cowboys aren't worth the alleged "savings".

β β β β β We used Conroy for our move from Canberra to Palmerston North in November 2021. Had no problems with pick up time in Canberra and delivery here in NZ. Upon delivery on 23rd December 2021, some items were damaged. Photos were sent and insurance claimed. Claim got declined due to the restrictive nature of insurance cover. This understood, I have since been trying to get hold of Conroy to advise me as to their level of accountability because the fact remains that, when collected these items were in perfect condition and the damaged occured in transit. The claim is not huge and we can live with it if Conroy does not come on board with a solution but never ever will I use Conroy or recommend them to anyone else. An absolute unpleasant experience.
