β β β β β Phoned up to book a test drive of a Volkswagen Touareg as seen that they were doing a special price on their website. Mention the special price to the sales person when booking....they didn't say it was incorrect. Went in for the test drive 4 days later, looked over the SUV and just before the test drive they checked the price and said it was incorrect and that promotion had finished and that it was no longer on their website....I took their word on this. Checked their website two days later and the special price is still there. Very poor on a number of fronts, 1) not confirming prior to my visit that the special price was no longer valid 2) still marketing the Touareg at a special price on their website (misleading advertising). Needless to say I left without test driving it as was pretty annoyed at being mislead (whether intentional or not) but the sales person should have confirmed the correct price when I initially booked.

β β β β β Serviced my car here twice and like their system with marking jobs as urgent or not so urgent. Although they are hard to reach via phone and email inbetween services.

β β β β β Worst service I could imagine. They don't answer the phone and don't return calls. When finally made contact they failed to do what they promised. Make sure you stay well clear of these cowboys! Itβs not the fact they refused to do the work, itβs the fact they would not let me know until I had arrived, after leaving messages that they couldnβt be bothered answering. Then ignored my request for a simple email confirmation. Iβll certainly never recommend them to anyone.

β β β β β Took my VW POLO 17 in for a routine service.
67000km at the time. Enquired about a loose spring in passenger seat that should be covered under warranty and asked whether tire rotation needed and licence plate frame (for puncture repair) 2275$ later seat request ignored (told to rebook if wanted to have this looked at, despite being part of the original job request) and no licence plate frame fitted.
Under note section of service record βstaying over for upsellβ
I am very displeased with this comment as I wonder how much of my bill was actually necessary. My initial approval quote was <2k however this quote apparently did not include the routine service costs
- was told needed brake rotors and pads changed
- pollen filter replaced ( changed last service at 60874)
- spark plugs (changed at last arrive with pollen filter)
- left bulb and number plate bulb (was blown but replacement charge was 130.80!)
- despite needing to take tyres off for brake replacement. Was charged an additional 80$ to rotate my tyres in the end.
Gave feedback and opportunity to remedy situation through vw customer satisfaction survey how it has been 3 months and have not heard back. I wonβt be going back to CONTINENTAL cars Vw and will go back to using TRISTRAM motors Vw for their excellent service (and lack of blatant upselling)

β β β β β They donβt even deserve 1 star!
Rattles and vibrations in both rear doors of a new Passat.
1st visit
Tell them itβs mainly the rear passenger door and if you touch the panel, speaker surrounds or wind down the window it stops.
Mechanic took this info and diagnosed the noises from the rear doors as coming from the drivers footwell as there was a deodorant in there.
So nothing was doneβ¦..
2nd visit
They took panel off and did nothing
Now I have vibrations, rattles and a loose door panel.
So itβs now worseβ¦..
3rd visit
Finds the speaker surrounds have loose parts in them. Shows me a video of them rattling.
Glues them in.
However still have noises.
4th visit.
Emailed saying I still have issues with the doors mainly drivers side.
Finds external door trim loose and shows me a video of it making the horrible noise Iβve had to listen to for six months.
Fixes one side with Velcro tape.
I asked if he fixed the other side as that has been the most noisey and it is a mirror image of the other side.
They did notβ¦.
Appalling service!
I left the car there as Iβve had enough!.
I wouldnβt let these muppets fix my wheelbarrow!

β β β β β I took my daughters VW Polo in for a failed Passenger side daytime driving light. Phillip Badenhorst was just excellent. He found out that it wasn't just the bulb, but a melted fitting. They had the replacement part later in the day, at a very reasonable cost and fitted it free of charge. Couldn't have asked for better service!

β β β β β Don't waste your time here, go to Giltrap Botany.
I brought my VW Golf here for an inspection. They kept the car for 4 days (only returning it when we turned up to pick it up) and charged me $230 (trying to convince me they had done so much for me to justify the cost). After diagnosing the problem as a clutch replacement, they attempted to get it approved through my mechanical insurance. The insurer requested photos which the service manager determined to difficult to deal with and told us they had declined it. I contacted the insurer myself and they provided the truth, and said they would also accept a report by a mechanic explaining why this issue should be covered. I requested this from Continental Cars and they refused (seemingly this was too much effort for them). After this terrible service, I still decided to go ahead and pay for the full replacement myself - I requested to be booked in with a courtesy car. After days without replies and multiple follow ups I got sick of this and reached out to Giltrap Botany - they had me booked in with the hour, only charged $60 for the inspection, got the insurance claim approved and provided a great experience overall.
Before you claim I wasn't a customer, this was all put through your system under my partners name.
