★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty area, so secluded and yet close to the city. This wharf was popular today with people fishing, I also saw people kayaking and one person swimming (late autumn today). There was pretty views over the bay and the wharf is nice too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place for enjoying your weekend and Boating, with alots of fishing there are sometimes no fish there but sometimes thes are heaps of them if you do visit there good luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few wharfs still existing on the Manukau harbor. Built in the 1920's it was intended as an "all tide" wharf that passenger ferries could berth at, for transporting passengers around the various harbor communities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little heaven hidden in the coast line. A place to relax for the residents. Sheltered in the gulf, the water was gentle. There is black sand patch among yellow sand. Old trees are stretching out they look monstrous. The wharf is a great place for some fishing. A 30+ mins drive for most Aucklaners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful beach! Love that the pier goes such a long way into the ocean. Great spot for fishing and a picnic at the beach. You can even see some cheeky seal stealing the fisherman’s fish. love it
