★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like shopping there. I never found it to be over crowded at all and it didn't matter what time of day it was. I don't know, I think it may be there for the convenience of all the workers around the airport. Late finishes and early starts. It's not a huge place but it's not small either. The staff. They are amazing forever smiling. It's a happy store to shop at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbeatable supermarket, its location is the best - close to Auckland Airport and next to iBis hotel. This openly late night place offers you a wide range of both local and imported products., as well as fresh fruits, vegetables, and natural items. I, myself, bought a bunch of chocolate and some snacks as souvenirs home. Payment is through cash or credit card, self-service or by cashier assistance. A lot of parking space in front. Have fun shopping at Countdown!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst supermarket I've ever been in. Shelves not stocked. Product in the wrong places. Disinterested staff. Worst selection of product I've seen anywhere, not just nz. Absolute embarrassment for any international travellers making it their first stop in nz. Shameful. Smells of a store with a toxic culture and staff who couldn't care less. Won't visit again.
