Established in 2004 we now boast a modern facility with over 900 individual storage units with a variety of sizes to suit your personal requirements.
We offer secure, low cost and easily accessible “do it yourself” storage for Auckland households and businesses, including external car and R/V storage.
Customers “hire” fully enclosed, self-contained storage units within our building complex for their exclusive use.
Once a storage unit is hired, you lock the unit with your own padlock and keep the keys. No one else will have access to the storage unit unless authorized by yourself, access to the storage unit is available from 6am to 6pm*
Housed in a large warehouse all our individual steel constructed lock up units are dry and protected from the elements with easy accessibility. Two undercover loading bays ensure that you can move in or out of storage regardless of weather conditions.

β β β β β We used Crown Self Storage for 8 years while living overseas and they were excellent. I would happily use them again.
Trolleys are available for moving possessions from vehicles to the storage units.
We never had an issue with security and the hours of access are reasonable and rates are competitive.
Some of the units can get very hot in summer, especially on the eastern side so keep that in mind when choosing a unit.
Also it is a good idea to use dust covers over the unit contents as they are wire mesh and do let in some dust.
Definitely worth checking their rates.

β β β β β I used their backpacker storage, and it was incredibly affordable. The staff was super friendly and helpful! They were very flexible with payments, as I wasn't in Auckland a lot of the time. Also got a free hat! Great deal, great service, would absolutely recommend!

β β β β β Consider using other storage services like Kennards Self Storage. This storage is not accessible for 24hours, has notice period, and has no WIFI. The staff refused to give me a refund because I checked the response late and sent the bank account details 7 months after I stopped using it.
Also my items got some water damages from probably water drops from ceilings. The first floor is too hot during summer and the ground floor is too moist.
