★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love this hotel! Clean warm comfortable rooms big beds with amazing views. Staff are lovely and helpful. Warm welcomes and goodbyes. Dinners are lovely but it’s only the 2 days a week? Great range of mini bar and coffee in room. Bathrooms and shower are amazing great hot water and presser!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I haven't stayed in a hotel for a very long time as our children are young and we don't often have reason to. We chose to stay at the Crown Plaza for a charity fundraiser in the city and we are so glad we did. We were warmly greeted by staff and blown away by the beautiful surroundings that had been festively decorated. Check in was smooth and hassle free. Our room was gorgeous with a nice view taken in from the comfortable window seat OR the shower! Toiletries were lovely (good brand!) and the bed was so comfortable with a choice of different pillows. Great touch with the TV sound being able to be heard in the bathroom- very handy when getting ready in front of the mirrors. LOVED the magnifying mirror. The bar was awesome, the barman friendly and knowledgeable and the choice of gins to die for. Breakfast the next morning was decadent and we loved making our own fresh juices. All in a wonderful night away that we cannot wait to replicate! Thanks for having us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel for my mandatory 14 day Isolation when arriving from the USA.
I cannot thank the staff enough for their service & hospitality during my stay.
The staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay in isolation was as comfortable as possible. The called regularly to check in on me and were prompt with any requests. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable.
The food was excellent!! There was a good variety on the menu and the portions were generous.
Once again, a big thanks to the Crowne Plaza!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the staff was v rude over phone obviously they dont say their name when answering phone. Seems shocking behaviour in this hospitality. No microwave. Have to push them and call again n again to get one later as food was given on random times. Dinner at 6 sometimes thats too early to eat or eat cold food later. Was expecting better since paid big amount for this short stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great place to spend isolation. We had a delicious menu to choose from, rooms were really good with a big comfy bed, staff were really friendly and cleanliness was outstanding. Plus we got a little newsletter every day with puzzles to keep us occupied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 7 days in MIQ the New Zealand Government managed isolation and quarantine. Well managed and staff very friendly. Very strict protocols, probably a bit over cautious, but given some people are not easy to manage probably warranted.
