★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a volunteer for this event 3 years ago, I enjoyed it, I was on the Saturday morning shift & again Sunday morning, heaps of entertainment you have an advantage to go behind stage, the organiser's really looked after you, fed you, the base was in the heart of Cuba St up stairs. I had sent an email a month ago to offer my help, but I've never had a reply. Anyway I have Relay for Life coming up that goes for 21hours, Porirua Grand Traverse Saturday Race pack & Sunday the Event. Kia ora

Wellington’s ultimate fun day started with a downpour. For a moment, it looked like the weather would have all the fun. But the locals persevered. As nothing happened, they moved from stage to stage, from one pub to another. The rain stopped and it was all on.
It’s always a wonderful sight, humanity celebrating life.
No rain will stop this.
