★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet beach front house in the Catlins. Fantastic sea views with Hectors dolphins in the bay. At certain times of the year there are blue penguins nesting under the house. If you walk up the beach and upto the head you can see the petrified forest, yellow eyed penguins and occasionally sea lions and seals.
The house is well equipped for cooking with full cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee grinder (coffee beans supplied), press and stove top pot and gas BBQ. There is no WiFi (only mobile phone service through Vodafone), TV or radio in the house, there is a decent Bluetooth speaker for connecting devices for music. Wood burning stove to heat the house up in chilly evenings. There are 2 house cats that like to sit in the sun or warmth when it's windy and wet out.
A perfect place to relax and watch the waves and birds or read a book.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband Mark and I had just returned from a fabulous weekend at Curio Bay Accommodation. Beach front luxury with expansive ocean views and just a few steps to the long white sand beach and perfect surf. We loved listening to the Little Blue Penguins at night and slept with the curtains back to see the glorious sunrises. Dani and Nick are outstanding hosts provided everything we needed for a fantastic break away. We highly recommend Curio Bay Accommodation and look forward to returning

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful piece of paradise overlooking Porpoise Bay. A real treat to lie in bed with fresh ground and brewed coffee and watch the sun climb in the morning.
The studio flats are well appointed and palatial in size. BBQ available on the rear deck, as well as cooking pots and a twin ceramic cook top. The bathroom is spacious with a rain shower head.
However no TV available and limited WIFI.
Best asset is peace and serenity.
