★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So very good. This is my go-to for curry goodness around this area, as once I tried Curry To Go, I say without exaggeration that I haven't been anywhere else around here. Double check the order detail, as I have had very minor glitches like lamb instead of chicken. Still rates 5/5 though, as I've never had a bad dinner from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After ordering online and going into the store I watched the guy microwave the prepackaged rice from the gap in the kitchen. I don’t know if this is standard but I was surprised as thought it would have been from a rice cooker at least .
The curry was good , the rotiwas stiff but had a nice taste but again tasted like it had been cooked and then reheated / toasted on the tandoori oven .
I would probably try again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very greedy in portion size. What was told on the phone order was not what they gave. Small continer of a very few small pices of chicken entree for $17 filled with half a containerof cabbage and onions, unbelievable greediness. Long wait time than what they told me on the phone. Over the phone they said 15 minutes and i reached the after 20minutes but they made wait for another 15 minutes at the takeaway please. Adding to this food was very very disappointing. I would not even give one star and would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved back to NZ in December, and I have been trying my way through every Indian Restaurant in Wellington City. Every single curry I have had since returning has been average at best, until tonight.
Curry to Go just suprised me by recreating a dish authentically. Rather than feeding me tomato sauce with a small amount of chilli powder like every other restaurant I've ordered from so far, the dish was actually complex and the flavours were as they are supposed to be.
This is the best Indian restaurant I have visited so far in New Zealand.
I order the same dish at every restaurant we eat in / order from, and have done this for over a decade. Will definitely order again from Curry to Go.
