★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place you can exchange money in Auckland . I tried to change my money which I have changed my money there before but somehow they rejected me changing money and then went to another shop on Queen st . From that store I had 70 dollors more than there( same amount)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Changed $550 a few months ago, they wanted ID drivers licence. Then recently changed another $500. They wanted another ID and said this was because I had bought over $1000. Then they wanted my address, occupation, phone number etc. I just confirmed what I thought, the rule is buying over $1000 in one visit. Why was my drivers licence not sufficient. I've never been asked for personal information like my address, phone number, occupation etc before when buying foreign exchange. I felt unsafe giving this to random staff at this foreign exchange place. I do not recommend and will not be returning. There are other exchange places on Queen St that don't ask for all this.
