★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received my order through Uber eats - This is a photo of a very under cooked and soggy chips with no salt that’s been marketed as their yum yum chips. Couldn’t eat it. It also isn’t the fault of the delivery driver, he delivered it quickly and these chips have never been crunchy or been close to in their life.
I also tried their spicy miso ramen and it came with three fine slices of pork and that is it. Mediocre at best.
Very disappointed and if I could give no stars I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a newly opened branch of Daruma, we were excited to try out their kid friendly menu as I find it really interesting to have beer for kids (apple juice based drink). It was jampacked when we went there quite tight space and there was q bit of a wait. We were warmly welcomed, staff are friendly. Food is good, but I think the price is not worth of the servings it had on my bowl! My daughter, however, enjoyed her portion which I am really happy about. If you are looking for an interesting experience for your bubs, go and try their kid menu! (PS, it has a lolly and jelly included! Haha).

Well rounded menu with a great balance of meat and vegetarian options. Sapporo on tap, garlic cheese pork gyoza, super fresh edamame, spicy miso tonkotsu ramen (had to add an egg, such a good plan!), and genuine vegetarian miso ramen made with vegetable miso broth, all amazing! Plus lovely staff, family friendly, calm, relaxed atmosphere, and reasonably priced (not super cheap but worth every penny). Can't wait to visit again. Check it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Auckland. They are chain stores but with slightly different menu.
Clean environment and comfortable seating and lighting. A comfy place to enjoy your meal.
Food there is authentic Japanese taste. Love their karaage (fried chicken), gyoza and spicy miso ramen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Staff didn't seem interested. Maybe having a bad day. Main meal was small servings. $18.50 for a bowl of noodles seemed expensive. Did like big beer 500ml serving option. Might just stick to chicken and beer next time. Otherwise overall was tasty enough.
