About Diamond Dry Cleaners & Laundromat
Diamond Dry Cleaners was originally established as Modern Way Dry Cleaners in 1938 in Napier by Dave and Jean Davidson. After returning from service in 1943 Dave renamed the business to Pacific Dry Cleaners. In 1948 this was sold and he established Diamond Dry Cleaners on 20th December in Hastings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not great service. Needed something dry cleaned either within 24 hours or to pick up on the morning of the 2nd day and they were not able to facilitate this request. A dry cleaner in Taradale was more helpful and had my suit ready on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was truly a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience as we will not come back to this business. It took 18 days, 4 visits and 2 phone calls to have one duvet inner dry cleaned, and then it was mixed up with another duvet because the customer name tags had come off. No compensation offered for the inconvenience of the long wait, two fruitless trips to the shop to collect the duvet and the lack of communication (no phone calls to say the garment was not ready yet).
