★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome sandy beach with views out to the off shore islands. Nice to relax and enjoy the sand, swimming and sunshine

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the beach beach in New Zealand.
Can be accessed by either a stair set leading off of cove road or the more rewarding option of a walk through the pancake rocks from Waipu cove.
The beach itself is covered in pancake looking rocks structures and pohutakawa trees.
The only problem is sharks, normally bronze whalers.
