★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by the shop while in town today to book a rental and he told me my 3-day rental “wasn’t worth his time,” yet when I asked if a car was available he said there was one available for my requested time. I guess he is honest, but refused service because he couldn’t be bothered renting a car due to other more profitable requests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Queenstown Branch. Beware this place is more like "rent a dent" The service is just as bad, in fact they just don't even reply. No phone number either! The car is about 20 yrs old and not one straight panel. Nothing like the late model car shown on their website. Definitely would not recommend :-(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Discovery Cars to book a rental car in Queenstown and although the site is easy to use, not all the companies they display/promote are reputable. I would be very warned of using unknown car companies without further investigation. The company we were directed to was called Ezu Cars and I would not recommend them at all. Did not have ski racks even after emailing confirmation that they did, staff not trained and unable to handle multiple customer complaints or explain insurance policy they were charging for, car was not serviced (as per dates on sticker), tyres tread was very questionable and overall experience tainted heavily. Rent with caution!

I booked a car in Queenstown via YES rental car and paid deposits unfortunately when we arrived the car company said Discover agency charge full cover insurance but you have to insurance as well with us other wise you have to pay .
I tried to call back to discovery company ( that absolutely scam company ) they said We can not return your insurance money. And access is long process as well.
Half day Iv got problem at the end I passed and went to other company and rent a car.
PLEASE be carful if you book from this website for YES CAR RENTAL company you waist money and time .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst intermediary car rental company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My wife and two children are stranded in Brisbane as the car rental supplier closes at 12noon on a Saturday. My wife's flight was late arriving, and Discovery Cars will do nothing to help, and refuse to provide a refund even though they agree this situation is not fair or reasonable. Find an alternative company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked and picked up car from airport branch on the same day (make sure you have clear location pickup instructions). Would've loved to leave my car to make it an easier pickup/drop-off process. Immaculate vehicle and excellent customer service and communication over the phone and via email. Would certainly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst car rental experience I ever had. As a third part agency they can’t guarantee anything. We were order an Aqua Toyota, the picture on their website was definitely newer than 2014. But the car rental company which is YES Rental gave us a 2007 Corolla. I tried to call discover cars they said there is nothing they can do, how ridiculous. They just ruined our trip on the first day.
