Made the experience a lot of fun while at the same time being very professional. Highly recommend going to these fine people if you want to learn to dive!

Shout out to Kalani for making sure the programme was fun, safe, and informative. I feel pretty confident in being able to dive now :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would recommend for their Open Water dive course. The shop also sells/rents underwater gear. Massive props to Kalani and James for teaching us, and making everyone feel safe and confident with our diving skills! Big up yourselves!
The course only had 6 students with 2 instructors (one in training), which makes you feel well looked after underwater.
Wish the shop would organise local dive trips. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really great time on this dive course. Would recommend. It's a great way to potentially make new friends and learn a new skill. Was able to score a spot during a (mid winter) school holiday slot which meant we were able to knock out our PADI certification in four consecutive full on days. 2 at the pool and 2 up in Mathesons Bay. No issues about the cold really.
Make sure you ask if Kalani is running the course. He's a patient and good teacher and gives clear and calm instructions (especially when its all underwater) - would definitely recommend learning with him.
I know of other places that offer training where all of the gear and equipment is provided for you during the course. Unfortunately you'll have to bring or purchase your own dive fins, mask, snorkel and boots (gloves optional) for this one, so is important to consider any potential extra costs involved when booking in advance.
