All scuba gear is provided and if following your Discover Scuba session you sign up for our PADI Open Water dive course we will take the cost of your Discover Scuba session off the course fees!

I found all the instructors and staff to be very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
The facilities were great and everyone at Dive Zone worked hard to make the entire course an enjoyable experience.

β β β β β I am currently completing the tertiary full time specialty instructors course, the dive instructor are awesome and always helpful, cheerful and ready to teach. All of the staff and instructors have a great wide range of knowledge. There are always great opportunities to go out and dive and also an on site heated pool, well equipped to teach new divers in training. Through the tertiary course we went to northland for a diving trip seeing some amazing things and had a great time especially diving the HMSNZ Canterbury. I would definitely recommend going in and talking to the staff about signing up to learn to dive and also recommend the tertiary course as it is lots of fun and a very enjoyable year. Overall I've had an amazing experience so far an look forward to the rest of my course.

β β β β β Through dive zone i gained my open water, advanced open water and then went from dive master to instructor with them over summer. Throughout my time with dive zone i gained nothing but experience and had the chance to learn from the best, every dive done was a learning curve, and the staff we're always behind you 110% to help with anything! would recommend dive zone Tauranga for anyone wanting to learn to dive, no matter what level! Best dives, Best trips and Best staff!

I am very happy with their services and can only recommend them to anyone looking to take on the amazing sport of scuba diving !

Customer service is really good and they will go the extra mile to help with what ever you are after or to answer your questions. Awesome place and staff.

β β β β β I was in today getting sorted with my gear to start spearfishing etc..fantastic crew,so very helpful!!! Thank you so much guys,look forward to coming back when the rest of my gear arrives and really looking forward to doing the course in a few weeks...sorry I could only give 5 stars!!!!!....allowing on from the first part of my review,I just completed the inaugural divezone Tauranga spearfishing and freediving course..I totally recommend this to all those interested..big thanks to Tony and his crew and of James and Michelle our instructors!!!

β β β β β Worst dive shop I've experienced, went in on Saturday to hire gear as I was visiting Tauranga, one of the two tanks hired had a bad o ring that obviously never got checked when we left the shop, when we came back on Sunday, we got told it was all our fault and we should be carrying spare o rings even though I was clearly hiring all the gear so didn't have my normal kit with me, no sympathy from the older bald guy that served us, most miserable guy to deal with. If you hire out bad gear, you might want to let the customers know prior to leaving the store that they might need spare o rings.
