About me
I have been a psychologist for over twelve years, working with adults, teenagers, children and families addressing a range
of issues, including stress, PTSD, adjustment, TBI (head injury), coping, anxiety, relationship, depression, addiction and identity issues. I also work with children and adolescents with behaviour management or anger management concerns. I am experienced in neuropsychological assessment and am registered with ACC as a provider for Sensitive Claims. I completed my training at Victoria, Otago and Auckland Universities, and have completed further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I grew up in New Zealand and have also lived for several years in both Germany and China. I am a parent to two active boys. I enjoy seeing clients flourish and thrive in therapy.
A New Perspective
One of the things I help clients with is gaining a new view or perspective on the situations in their lives. We all get into ruts from time to time, and can begin to feel like we are “stuck” or unable to make changes. I will help you to identify different, previously un-thought-of choices and plans of action.

New Ways of Thinking About the World and Yourself
One of the things that I focus on is helping people discover and challenge long-held beliefs and thought patterns that have been un-helpful or destructive. Learning to think about things in new, healthier ways can help you to develop improved mental health, satisfaction and well-being.
New Ways of Behaving
When it comes to managing stress, anxiety, anger, and other emotions, all of us can sometimes use new, healthier skills. I will help you to develop new coping strategies during difficult, stressful times in your life.
A Place to Talk
While many of my clients use their sessions to learn new skills, some use their time with me to vent, explain, and try to better understand their lives. Great change can come from having a confidential, non-judgmental place to talk and learn strategies for achieving insight and understanding.
Contact me now if you need a fresh perspective or help developing new ways of behaving. I can be reached by phone on:
