β β β β β I have being coming here for years now and it has become all about the money, the receptionist are rude and dont take the time to ask what is the problem. Will be looking at a different doctors.

β β β β β Had very average service once my doctor (isabella) left a couple years ago. Started going to a doctors in takapuna while working up there and was amazed at how efficient, friendly and helpful they were, I couldn't even compare the two because they are in different leagues. The final straw was when I had thrush very bad and went in to get test. I rung them 21st days in a row trying to get my results and they never replied to my messages. Then someone answered and I asked what the results where and when they came through, the nurse said yesterday morning and I had thrush (which I already knew just needed to wait for test so I could get prescribed treatment, all the while in a lot of pain and discomfort) I was confused as to why I didn't get a call the day earlier but anyway, I asked for the prescription to be sent to a pharmacy in Takapuna, they said they would do it that day. I assumed it had been done and went to the pharmacy on the way home that afternoon but they didn't have anything sent through for me. So I called Drury doctors and again got no answer so left another message. They nest day I called again 2x and still nothing, so I went to the pharmacy hoping they had sent it and not told me, but again nothing. The next day I called again and got through to a nurse, she said she would send it through now so at this point I was extremely desperate I leave work and drive to pharmacy, still nothing! I ring again and they say they will do it in 15 minutes and to wait, so I wait. Finally! It is sent through to pharmacy and I get it and pay then get to my car and realise they have prescribed the cream and not the pill (which I requested 2x) I ring again and they send the correct form through for the pill awhile waiting another 45 minutes. Then they have the audacity to charge me $17 for the faxing fee!! Unbelievable, I wrote a letter explaining what happened and why I wouldn't be paying it. I still to this day have not paid they $17 and have since changed to an amazing medical centre. The only thing I regret is not leaving sooner.

β β β β β doctors are good but management are nuts . Quite often nurses geels patients to go to emergency instead of giving a appointment even if you call early in the day . All they do is to avoid if a child is sick . Doctors are late on the appointments so please allow extra 20-30min but if a patient comes late, they usually charge extra . Frontine staff doesn't seems to have enough knowledge of system and guide patients wrong . My family is with Drury surgery from last many years and they are close to my home but now its time to change the doctors

β β β β β I often don't take the time to write reviews at all but I have to say I was really impressed as a new patient. The 2 receptionists that I dealt with were both extremely helpful and really really cheerful. It was a really nice atmosphere and which was lovely. I was seen without my notes as I joined at that appointment, that was a mistake I made but it was unavoidable on this occasion. I left feeling not 100% satisfied with my appointment if I'm honest and actually felt I'd wasted my new client fee as I didn't feel the doctor was very interested in my particular issues, I actually felt like she thought I was being dramatic- BUT- I was really impressed that once my clinical notes came through I got a call from that Doctor and she was very patient explaining the blood results and also understood that my issue was shown on scans I had previous. I think that changed things, although I don't really feel like I'm getting to the bottom of the issue I have, I do think it was exceptional that the Doctor actually did follow up and actually did have a look at my history. This was a marked difference between this clinic and the last 2 I have been too. I also would need to say they kept to their appointment time better than any Doctors office I've been to before. I feel I can definitely recommend them to others. BUT probably wise to have your history accessible at that first appointment! I understand it's hard when someone looks healthy to believe they maybe have some underlying issues giving them discomfort.

β β β β β Best doctors I have ever been to. The nurse Wendy is lovely - empathetic and made me feel at ease even when I was experiencing something a little devastating. I'm so glad I registered and it's worth the drive I have to take.
However I wish I could minus one half of a star, as the doctor I saw (not my usual) didn't seem to really care about what I was saying and I felt like she just wanted me to stop talking or thought I was being dramatic. Other than that, great communication and super friendly staff.
