★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a rude receptionist..the white lady at the front..
My two year old developed flu like symptoms overnight.. suddenly became short of breath in the morning. When your two year is sick u just don't have clarity of mind to think you are not allowed to go in with flu like symptoms
She said u are not allowed to come in here at all..she should learn how to respond to sick whaanau and Moko..she told me off for being in there by looking at my two year who was wheezing..they won't allow walk ins.. really???especially when someone is struggling..is that how you respond..i understand your policies but remember i was nice so do i expect same from you..i am in need of health care services not your grief..if someone is trying to improve your services here you go..educate your receptionist to behave!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have tried calling 3 times since this morning waiting for more than 30 minutes each time & then disconnecting out of frustration. It costs money & time!! If all your representatives are busy attending other calls you need to employ more people. You're slack!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well. Judging by the overwhelming number of poor reviews, I won't make a point of enrolling my family here.
It seems like the reception staff's abilities and attitudes need to be assessed if Takanini Medical Centre care for their image, patients and patients reviews.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because phone lines are busy I thought to go and let the receptionist know that My wife needs phone consultation of today’s appointment as she stuck at work, while I am on the way to pick baby from school , Receptionist asked me to wait she is in the middle of paperwork I waited around 2-3 minutes I asked if she can listen me she was super rude I felt insulted.
Time 2:45pm Date 10 June Friday 2022.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First. No way to book an in-person consult on their website except for an online consult. Booking through phone is a nightmare with approximately 45mins wait time.
Second. My local pharmacy said they have not received a repeat prescription I requested through Local Doctors. So now I have to phone them again and endure another long wait time.
Can you please allow booking for in-person consult and repeat prescription through your website? Please?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called through to the Local Doctors call centre, was given the option to leave a message and someone will return my call and I will retain my space in the queue. I left two voice messages and did not receive a call back. To get through on the phone line I had to hold for 75 minutes. Trying to contact them through the website it says it will take them at least 3 to 5 days to respond. They are extremely hard to get a hold of and it's difficult to ever get a doctors appointment within a week. When I did have a booking I went in and still had to wait to be seen to then be told they couldn't see me as they were too busy so I had to reschedule. Very poor service. I've never had a problem like this for years with Local doctors Glen Innes or Sylvia Park, only since moving to South Auckland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enrolled that was made easy online. Call to access their services 30min later no response. The process to get a booking needs to be improved. If your receptionist or who ever isn't going to answer the phones to book your patience you need to work out the process better. Shame on you 'Local Doctors' as a brand and business. This users experience was poor and its due to the lack of design thinking. Moving onto another doctor who might actually care about me getting seen sometime this week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just spent 30 minutes on hold waiting to speak to reception to make a booking to see my Doctor. When I finally got to speak with reception I found that it was a call center that I had called. after explaining that I wanted to make an appointment to see my doctor, this took another 5 minutes, I was told that he was fully booked up for 1 week!!! I advised the call center person that I will drop their services and find another doctor. They did not care..... so goodbye.
