but the lamb skewers are a hidden gem and very authentic, good value and highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There still exists a cheap eatery that is tasty here. They have good range of food from skewers to hand cut noodles to dumplings and others.
We had the bean curd salad, lamb and chicken bone(knee/cartilage) and chicken&egg fried rice. All tasty. I was surpised at the bean curd, it had a light flavour and good chewing texture.
Will go back to try more dishes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had takeaway boxes picked up last night. I thought the portions were small, considering this cost $27. Didn’t fill up my partner and I like nearby takeaways would for a similar price. Chicken fried rice was bland and lacked inspiration, however the dumplings were very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had chicken and egg fried rice from here. The portion was less for the amount I had paid for it and tasted alright but nevertheless the 5 star is for the lady at the counter who was really nice even though English isn't her first language. She had it all sorted on a piece of paper on how to communicate! I'd be pretty keen to try other items from their menu.
